It is with a very heavy heart that I put these dogs up for adoption.  Serious inquiries only, please.

JACK

dob: 7-17-03

Jack has been a part of our family for a long time.  He was neutered in 2008 after siring several litters.  He is a red dapple piebald.  He is current on all his shots and is heartworm/lyme negative. 

Jack is a special dog, with a very special personality.  He is a dog that would love nothing more than to chase a ball all day.  He prefers not to be a lap dog, and doesn't particularly care for a lot of deep affection.  He is very willing to sit by you and enjoy your company (after you've throw the ball to him for an hour), and he enjoys taking walks and being a companion.  He is crate trained, and listens fairly well off leash (for a hound dog).  He would need to be the only male dog in the home, but enjoys the companionship of as many female dogs as he can possible surround himself with.  He is housebroken, but was a former stud dog, so it is possible that he could mark at times. 

He would not be good for a home with children, or cats!

IF the right home is out there, his placement will be at no cost.  He is a sweet dog, but he will only be placed in a home that is able to offer him what makes him truly happy.
